Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe has praised Mikel Arteta’s impact at the Emirates Stadium after the 2-0 victory over Manchester United this week.
Speaking to RMC, via Daily Mail, Pepe explained what has changed already under the Spaniard and emphasised the importance of consistency.
He said: “We are doing a lot, a lot of video during training in order to perform well during the match. We performed well, we were solid defensively, we were good going forward. It is all new for us. A new system, new instructions. We are adapting quickly.
“That has been seen in the last three matches, even though we did not win, we were very good, we were just missing the victory, which we were able to do tonight. We need to continue like this. Now we have to go on a run to get to this top four that we need to do.”

TBR’s View – Can Arteta get his front four on the pitch on a regular basis?
Arteta went for the jugular against United, fielding Pepe alongside Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
That was not something Unai Emery managed to do and if Arteta can find a way to do it while maintaining the balance of his side, it could be a major boost to Arsenal’s season.
