It has been reported this week that Argentine defender Nicolas Otamendi is looking for talks with Pep Guardiola over his future at Manchester City.
The 30-year-old has fallen behind Aymeric Laporte, John Stones and Vincent Kompany in the pecking order at The Etihad. With that in mind, he wants to discuss his future at City, as reported by The Sun.
But should Manuel Pellegrini target an ambitious swoop with West Ham United?

The Chilean was the man in charge at City when Otamendi first arrived in England. The £90,000-a-week player was signed from Valencia in 2015 for a fee in the region of £32 million.
However, he only had one season working with the Argentine as he left the club in the summer of 2016.
Otamendi played 48 times under Pellegrini’s guidance, his highest game tally for a City season.
West Ham have some talented central defenders in their ranks. However, adding Otamendi’s experience could be a masterstroke from Pellegrini and his presence might just be able to lure the Argentine into a London Stadium move.
