Roberto Mancini and Steven Gerrard are amongst the names that Spurs admire as they continue their search for their next boss, according to a report from The Telegraph.
Of course, Tottenham are continuing their search for Jose Mourinho’s permanent successor.

As noted by The Telegraph, they have been linked with a host of names. And they have seemingly got close to appointing the likes of Paulo Fonseca and Antonio Conte along the way.
It was claimed this week that Nuno Espirito Santo is the front-runner for the post. And The Telegraph also suggests that the former Wolves boss is in talks with Spurs about the position.

But interestingly, the report adds that both Mancini and Gerrard have admirers at Tottenham.
Coup for Spurs if they managed to appoint Mancini or Gerrard as next boss
Tottenham fans are probably growing increasingly anxious about what direction their club is heading in.
As time passes, more and more names seem to be taken off the table. And the likelihood of an underwhelming appointment increases.
But going after Mancini or Gerrard would be exciting at this stage.
Gerrard has just led Rangers to the Scottish Premiership title. And Mancini has put together an Italy side that many are tipping to go a long way at Euro 2020.
Mancini has obviously also won silverware in England.
Gerrard is still somewhat unproven as a manager. But he would be a massive name. And surely, potential targets would relish the chance to work with the Englishman.
As things stand, Nuno looks to be in pole position.
But given how things have played out so far, it would not be the biggest surprise if Spurs did have to look elsewhere on their wishlist.
And it does seem that they have some exciting names on their radar.
