Newcastle Untied are being linked with a move for Celtic goal machine Odsonne Edouard, who would be a stunning addition at St James’ Park if they could somehow pull off a transfer for him.
The Daily Record reports that the 22-year-old is attracting interest from Newcastle, Manchester United and Everton.
Meanwhile, the Daily Record explained in January that Leicester City were plotting a summer move for the centre-forward.
It was explained that Celtic wouldn’t even consider selling him midway through the season and that bidding in the summer for him would have to start around the £30million mark.
Edouard is still under contract with the Scottish giants until 2022 and is in the form of his life, but he’s being tipped for greatness in the future.
The French striker has played 41 games across all competitions this season, scoring 25 goals and supplying 17 assists.

Edouard is proving he’s already a top-class attacker that is so composed with his finishing and he brings others into play too.
Newcastle supporters should be extremely excited to have their name thrown into the hat for him, even if a move to St James’ Park does seem a long shot considering his talent.
He would be exactly the type of player to improve Steve Bruce’s side, as he’s a natural goalscorer and would solve their problem in attack.
Newcastle’s £40million (BBC) gamble to sign forward Joelinton in the summer hasn’t paid off this season and they are still crying out for a serious threat, which is exactly what Edouard would provide.
