Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes, Manchester United attacker Antony and all the other players in Brazil’s squad were hard at work in a training session in Qatar yesterday.
Tite’s side have won each of their first two games and are through to the knockout stages of the World Cup. Both Guimaraes and Antony have only made substitute appearances so far, but they could get a nod from the start when Brazil take on Cameroon later this week.
The Newcastle star, however, had a bit of a scare in training yesterday.

Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes gets whacked in the face by Manchester United’s Antony in Brazil training
Brazil’s stars are on cloud nine after a phenomenal start to their World Cup campaign, but they’re training hard.
In a session in Qatar yesterday, Tite made his lads take part in a training game of sorts, and Guimaraes and Antony were on opposite sides.
The Newcastle star was defending inside the box, and unfortunately for him, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Antony received the ball at the edge of the box and he smashed a left-footed strike towards goal. Guimaraes, sadly, was in the way and received a hard blow to the side of his face.
The Newcastle midfielder was visibly in pain as he held his ear. The physio of the Brazilian team came onto the pitch to check on him, but thankfully, it looked like he was OK.

Getting smacked by a football in the face is never a pleasant feeling, we’ve all been there.
It’s no surprise at all that Guimaraes was hurt and even needed some medical attention. However, he didn’t even go to ground, which is a suggestion that it’s nothing too serious.
Brazil’s next game is against Cameroon. Tite’s side need just a point to confirm their place as the group leaders as they head to the knockout stage of the competition.
Guimaraes, who was an unused substitute in the first game and came off the bench in the second, could get a chance from the start on Friday.
