Newcastle United endured a difficult summer and their struggles have continued into the new season, as the Magpies are winless in the Premier League.

Fortunately, things are faring a bit better for the contingent of players away from St. James’ Park on loan. We take a look at their latest appearances.

Jack Colback – Nottingham Forest

The midfielder played the entirety of Aitor Karanka side’s 2-2 draw with Birmingham City, picking up a booking for the third time in four appearances in the Championship.

Dwight Gayle – West Brom

Could not build upon his debut goal from last weekend in a 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough, where he played 83 minutes.

Josef Yarney – Morecambe

Could not inspire his side as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Oldham Athletic. The 20-year-old played the entirety of the match.

Henri Saivet – Bursaspor

The 27-year-old Senegal international wasted no time getting stuck into action with Bursaspor after joining just a few days ago, making his debut in a 1-1 draw with Konyaspor and playing the full ninety minutes.
