Newcastle United are keen on signing Eintracht Frankfurt defender, Evan N’Dicka, according to a report from German publication, Bild.
The Magpies have secured their Premier League place for next season after a string of fine results under the guidance of Eddie Howe. And after a strong January transfer window, the focus is now on who the Toon will bring in over the summer.

And according to BILD, N’Dicka is a target for Newcastle. The defender is thought to be worth around £19m, with reports last year mentioning that figure when Arsenal were apparently interested in the French defender. N’Dicka, 22, has played a key role in helping Frankfurt into the Europa League semi-finals this season. He played his part in the quarter-final win over Barcelona, although he was sent off deep into injury time in the second leg.
Branded as a ‘phenomenal’ talent by Frankfurt coach Adi Hutter, there is no doubt that N’Dicka is good enough to make the step into the Premier League.
TBR’s View: N’Dicka Looks A Solid Prospect For Newcastle To Look At
It’s going to be an exciting old summer for Newcastle fans this summer and going for a player like Evan N’Dicka makes a lot of sense.
He’s proven himself in the Bundesliga and of course, in the Europa League, and at 22, he’s at a great age for Newcastle to pick up and develop even further.
That initial £19m valuation last year might have risen given his form this year. But Newcastle have the money to spend, and N’Dicka is a top prospect who could help the Toon get even better.
