Newcastle United have been linked with Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard in recent weeks.
Back in October, 90Min reported that the Magpies had set their sights on three Red Devils players.
They named Lingard, Phil Jones and Nemanja Matic as potential Newcastle targets.

With the January transfer window fast approaching, speculation is increasing with each passing day.
And Fabrizio Romano has now claimed that Newcastle have begun talks with Lingard’s camp.
The Italian journalist, however, made clear it’s still an open race and nothing has been agreed.
Newcastle would land “unique” forward with great track record – TBR View
Newcastle are certainly in need of bolstering their ranks, particularly up front.
And Lingard would be a great shout for the Magpies.
The “unique” 28-year-old enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at West Ham last term.
This led to Man United keeping hold of him, but he’s once again struggling for regular game time.

As well as Newcastle, the Hammers are reportedly hoping to land Lingard again.
A report in The Sun from November claimed Man United could potentially sell him for as low as £10million.
The outlet claims the Red Devils were considering selling Lingard for £25million in the summer.
Although Newcastle have huge financial muscle now, they’d still have to be realistic about their targets.
And Lingard definitely seems like a realistic target.
