Newcastle United will be desperate to bolster their ranks in the January transfer window.
The Magpies are not only fighting for their Premier League status, but have severely depleted ranks.
However, the recent takeover means Newcastle have a sizeable war chest with which to entice players to St James’ Park.

One player reportedly on the Magpies radar is a title-winning forward whose contract runs out in summer.
According to Takvim, Newcastle are eyeing Besiktas and Canada forward Cyle Larin.
The Turkish outlet claims the Magpies hierarchy is “expected” to get together with their Besiktas counterparts and strike a deal.
Larin has been good for his club since joining in 2018, registering 38 goals and nine assists from 92 appearances.
Last season, the 26-year-old struck 23 goals and helped Besiktas win the Turkish Super Lig title.
In addition, Larin has been sensational for Canada, scoring 22 goals in 44 appearances.

The 6ft 2in ace is a versatile player who can feature at centre-forward and on the flanks.
Brazil icon Kaka tipped Larin for a successful career back in 2017.
“Everybody [now] knows him, the way that he plays,” The Sun quoted Kaka as saying.
“The marking is different, and he had a very good season last season as well.
“He scored a lot of goals. I think Cyle can go far.
“Cyle is a very good player – I think Cyle can play in a big team in Europe as well.”
