Newcastle United should plot a move to bring Tottenham attacker Georges-Kevin N’Koudou to St James’ Park in the January transfer window.
The Magpies are just two points above the relegation spots as it stands and need some extra creativity in the final third to help them move clear of the drop zone.
Rafael Benitez’s side have managed just 19 goals in 23 league games, with bottom of the table Huddersfield Town the only team in the division to score few.
Newcastle should take a gamble by chasing N’Koudou’s signature, who has not had the best of time in English football.
The 23-year-old winger has struggled to make it at Spurs since he joined in 2016, while last season he had a disappointing spell at Burnley.
But Benitez could do with some fresh recruits in wide areas and may be able to unlock something special in the Spurs fringe man.

N’Koudou did come off the bench in the win over Fulham recently for a rare cameo and produced a brilliant assist to help win the game 2-1 in the closing stages.
He has not shown enough of his crossing quality in the Premier League so far, but gave a small glimpse into it and has elective pace too.
According to Sky Sports, Spurs are prepared to listen to offers for the Frenchman despite his contribution against Fulham.
He would certainly be a risk for any team in the top flight, but could be exactly what Newcastle need with an injection of pace and centre-forward Salomon Rondon would surely love plenty of high quality crosses into the box.
N’Koudou, who earns £35,000-a-week (Spotrac), is still at a young age where he can get his career back on track and previously impressed during his time with Marseille.
