As the transfer deadline approaches, Newcastle United still need to strengthen in a number of areas.
In an ideal world, Newcastle would bring in a new left-back, central midfielder, winger and striker before the window slams shut on Thursday evening.
But with time running out, Rafa Benitez will be frantically weighing up his options ahead of a busy last couple of days.
One player that he should consider is Liverpool outcast Divock Origi. The Belgium international could be available for a loan move, which would interest Newcastle.
With Mike Ashley unwilling to invest, loans are the easiest way for Newcastle to do their business this January.

Origi could prove to be a masterstroke as he has a reasonable goal scoring record but has not had a chance at Liverpool.
The 23-year-old has started one Premier League match this season and come off the bench twice, but he has picked up a goal and an assist in just 73 minutes of action.
Origi also scored in his only FA Cup outing – which came against Premier League side Wolves.
Newcastle desperately need attacking reinforcements, having netted just 19 goals in 23 Premier League matches.
Origi on a short-term loan may be their best option of improving their attack and if he can hit his best form, relegation should not be a concern by the end of the campaign.
