Newcastle United should consider offloading highly-rated talent Elias Sorensen in January and the perfect opportunity may have presented itself.
According to the Mail, National League side Hartlepool United are one of the clubs keeping an eye on the 19-year-old.
The report details the Premier League outfit could loan out the centre-forward and Hartlepool are interested in bringing in a reinforcement in January.
It is understood teams from the Football League may also be keen, but fifth-tier club Hartlepool could be an interesting destination for Sorensen for the second half of the season.
Sorensen has been ripping it up so far this campaign and already scored 15 goals across youth level.

But first-team manager Rafael Benitez has clearly decided against calling him up for good reason and that’s why a short-term loan is ideal for him.
Sorensen could develop so much from six months in non-league, where his physicality will be tested and he can look to prove himself at senior football.
He needs to show that he can be a goalscorer outside of Under-23 level and a loan move makes perfect sense.
There is a feeling around St James’ Park that the Danish striker can make a breakthrough further down the line and a loan at Hartlepool could be the beginning of that journey.
