Newcastle United are reportedly keen to sign Bordeaux winger Francois Kamano in January.
The Magpies have identified the Guinea international as a potential incoming in the winter transfer window according to Mercato 365.
The French media outlet also claim that Newcastle officials were present to watch the star in action recently against Dijon.

Kamano has turned heads this season with some top performances for Bordeaux.
The versatile 22-year-old, who can play as a winger or a central striker, has scored eight goals in 17 appearances and has drawn attention with his direct play style.
Newcastle should use out-of-favour Atsu to land him
Benitez is, once again, expected to be handed a small transfer kitty by Mike Ashley, meaning the Spaniard will have to be astute when trying to acquire new signings.
It could be within his best interests to use Christian Atsu to try and get Kamano in.

Ghana international Atsu has struggled to make his mark for the club this season following his permanent move from Chelsea in 2017.
The winger has made just seven Premier League appearances this season, only one of which was a start.
He is very much unfancied by Benitez, who has opted to use Matt Ritchie, Kenedy, Jacob Murphy and even Ayoze Perez in the wide areas over him.

He has done very little with the opportunities he’s been handed, and so Benitez could try to offload him in a deal for Kamano, who would be an upgrade.
Other clubs such as Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, Burnley, Crystal Palace, Atlanta and Hannover are all said to be monitoring Kamano, so Benitez would have to be very shrewd.
