Newcastle United are in dire need of bolstering their ranks in the January transfer window.
As well as being in a Premier League relegation dogfight, the Magpies also have key players missing.
Newcastle’s FA Cup elimination at the hands of Cambridge United highlighted just how much they need new players.

Arguably the most pressing need for Newcastle now is up front.
Callum Wilson suffered a calf injury last month and the Magpies are set to be without him for another eight weeks.
The outlet claims Newcastle have made a number of enquiries over strikers, and one of those was over Edin Dzeko.
Inter Milan are believed to have rebuffed the Magpies’ interest.
However, the Nerazzurri aren’t in the healthiest position financially – could a big Newcastle bid turn their heads?
Newcastle reportedly eyeing “extraordinary striker”
Dzeko is a veteran striker with close to 800 senior appearances at club and international level.

The 35-year-old has considerable Premier League experience, clocking up 189 appearances for Manchester City.
Dzeko’s goal and assist tally over his career has been superb too.
At club level, he has 303 goals and 137 assists from 661 appearances.
For Bosnia & Herzegovina, he has 60 goals and 23 assists from 118 caps.
Former Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco deemed him “extraordinary” in October 2018
Dzeko has even earned comparisons with toon legend Alan Shearer.
In 2011, Martin Keown wrote in his Mail column: “He is somewhere between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alan Shearer.
“He is upright in his movement, like Ibrahimovic, but he is more of a goalscorer and more nimble.”
