Newcastle United are in need of bolstering their ranks in the January transfer window.
While Kieran Trippier’s imminent arrival is a good start, the Magpies must strengthen across the board.
Newcastle’s attack is in particular need of fresh legs, and that was before Callum Wilson’s injury.

According to the Daily Mail, the 29-year-old will be sent for more scans at the end of this week.
Early suggestions claimed Wilson could be out for around six weeks with a calf injury.
However, these have made way for concern that it could be longer, added the report.
In the event of a prolonged absence, Newcastle are now sourcing attacking reinforcements.
And Azmoun, who plays for Russia’s Zenit Saint-Petersburg, is reportedly on the Magpies radar.
The Daily Mail has also claimed that the Iran international “could cost as little as £5million”.
Azmoun is out of contract at the end of the season and bound to have plenty of suitors after him.

His goal, assist and trophy tally for Zenit is impressive.
He has 10 goals and four assists from 21 club games this season, including two Champions League goals.
Azmoun’s overall tally for his club reads 104 games, 62 assists and 23 assists.
The 6ft 1in ace has won the Russian league championship in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Azmoun has also won one Russian Cup, two Russian Super Cups, and was Russia’s 2021 Player of the year.
In addition, he has 39 goals from 60 appearances for the Iranian national team.
