Newcastle United are facing an uphill task against Leicester City, with Salomon Rondon having been ruled out the match.
The Venezuela international has been struggling with a thigh problem as reported by The Northern Echo, and will miss the game at St. James’ Park.
It’s a huge game for the Magpies, who are still yet to win a game this season.

Rafa Benitez’s side have been really struggling so far, following another summer of stagnation in terms of investment.
One of their main areas of struggle has been scoring goals, as was the case last season.
Newcastle have only managed to find the net four times in their first six league matches.
It’s a bad return, and Rondon is going to be a huge miss on Saturday.
Do Newcastle have any hope of winning?
Rondon is a big player for the Magpies, but he is by no means clinical.
He’s not a prolific goalscorer, but his hold up play is excellent and he is a huge threat in the air.

It’s going to be tough without him, but Newcastle need to win and Leicester are suspect at the back.
The Foxes have conceded 11 goals in their opening six matches, so that has to be encouraging for Benitez.
Who replaces Rondon?
With Rondon to miss out, Benitez must think carefully about who to replace him with.
The obvious candidate is Joselu, who has actually scored 50% of Newcastle’s Premier League goals so far.
He could also consider Yoshinori Muto, but the Japanese international has looked a little lightweight since moving to England.

Benitez could also turn to Ayoze Perez to lead the line.
The ex-Chelsea and Liverpool boss is very loyal to his fellow countryman and could deploy him in a more advanced role on Saturday.
