Newcastle United travel to Old Trafford on Sunday to face Manchester United – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter have urged manager Steve Bruce to recall Martin Dubravka to the starting XI.
Dubravka, who cost the Magpies £4million (The Sun), missed the first half of the season through injury.
Karl Darlow stepped into the number one position during his absence and has performed so well that he’s retained the gloves.
Dubravka returned to fitness at the end of December, but has had to watch his teammate play ahead of him and he’s not featured in the Premier League all season, with his only appearance in the FA Cup against Arsenal.
The 32-year-old was previously the first-choice goalkeeper at St James’ Park and has been an extremely consistent player during his time with the Toon, but Bruce has opted to stick with in-form Darlow.
With the team now only six points above the relegation places, fans are getting nervous about their top-flight status and want a change in team selection.

A selection of Newcastle supporters on social media are insisting that former number one Dubravka returns in-between the sticks.
The Slovakia international has proven before he’s a great shot-stopper and a commanding figure in his box, but the manager has the tough scenario of having two quality options in goal.
Here are some Newcastle fans discussing Dubravka ahead of the trip to Man United:
