A number of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to implore the club to make a move for Callum Wilson following Bournemouth’s relegation from the Premier League.
Despite winning on the final day of the campaign, the Cherries will be playing in the Championship next season.

And that may seemingly open the door for the Magpies to make a move for their striker this summer.
The Daily Express reported last week that Steve Bruce was eyeing a move for the £20 million-rated forward should Eddie Howe’s men go down.

The 28-year-old has scored eight league goals this past season. In total, he has scored 41 times since Bournemouth were promoted in 2015.
And plenty of Newcastle supporters believe that the Magpies need to make their move for Wilson. Bruce’s men ended the campaign with just 38 goals in 38 games.
Their top goalscorer was Jonjo Shelvey, who bagged six goals. Meanwhile, none of his teammates – including summer signing Joelinton – managed more than four strikes in the top flight.
Wilson, of course, now has a relegation on his CV. But it would appear that several Newcastle fans view the Cherries going down as a real opportunity to land a very good striker.
Here is what some of the Newcastle supporters were saying about Wilson following the final day of the campaign…
