Newcastle United managed to secure a draw with Manchester City on Saturday afternoon – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter ripped into centre-forward Joelinton for his performance.
The Magpies recorded a 2-2 stalemate at St James’ Park against Manchester City in the Premier League.
Raheem Sterling put the visitors in front in the 22nd minute with a composed finish, but just three minutes later Steve Bruce’s side were back on terms.
Left wing-back Jetro Willems netted his second goal of the season with a powerful low finish off his weaker right foot, while Miguel Almiron can be delighted to pick up the assist.
Despite some resilient defending throughout, a wonder strike from Kevin De Bruyne from outside the box appeared to have earned Manchester City three points.
But Jonjo Shelvey popped up as the hero in the closing stages with his own stunning goal from range.

He arrived at St James’ Park for a club record £40million (BBC) in the summer from Hoffenheim and so far he’s struggled to justify that colossal price tag.
The 23-year-old striker was left isolated in attack for large spells against Manchester City and tried to hold the ball up, but ultimately wasn’t a goal threat and was substituted off in the second-half.
