Newcastle United fans have voiced their frustration on Twitter, as reports claim that their target Jarrod Bowen of Hull City has had a transfer fee agreed for him with Premier League side Crystal Palace.
According to the Daily Mail, Palace have agreed a £16million fee to sign the attacker from Championship outfit Hull in January and he’s set to command £60,000-a-week in wages.
It is understood though that West Ham still hope to hijack the deal on Friday’s deadline day for the January transfer window.
The report adds that Newcastle have been considering an offer for the 23-year-old, but manager Steve Bruce has been reluctant to try do business with his former side Hull.
Palace and West Ham are now expected to battle it out for Bowen, with the former already agreeing their transfer sum for him.
Bowen has been in sensational form in the Championship for Hull and is now being tipped for a switch to the top-flight midway through the campaign.
The left-footed winger is a goal machine that has struck 17 times in 32 games across all competitions this season.

A selection of Newcastle supporters on social media feel that they are missing a real opportunity on Bowen and expect them to regret not signing him.
The dazzling wide player is so effective cutting in from the right flank and it will be no surprise to see him flourish when he steps up to the Premier League.
