Newcastle fans react to Sean Longstaff’s performance against Hibs

Steve Bruce recorded his first victory as Newcastle United manager with a 3-1 win over Hibernian on Tuesday night.

Goals came from new record signing Joelinton, Sean Longstaff and Jamaal Lascelles and in truth there could have been a lot more for the Magpies in the night.

Many positives could be taken out of the game, and they looked much improved compared to last time out against Preston North End.

Arguably Newcastle’s standout player was scorer of the second goal Longstaff.

The young Englishman continued his good form in pre-season and controlled the game in central midfield at Easter Road.

The star played for an hour before being replaced by Ki Sung-yueng, who’ll be fearing for his starting prospects after Longstaff’s recent showings.

Against Hibs, he was always an outlet and caused problems with his passing range from the engine room.
