A number of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the weekend concerning the future of Arsenal loanee Joe Willock.
Willock seems to have been one of the few shining lights during the second-half of the season at St James’ Park. He has scored twice for the Magpies.

His second goal, of course, came on Sunday as Steve Bruce’s side drew with Tottenham. And that strike came just a few hours after a report emerged concerning what the future holds for the 21-year-old.
The Sunday Mirror (4/4; page 63) claimed that Newcastle want to sign Willock on loan ahead of next season. However, there are a couple of big hurdles to clear.

According to the Mirror, Arsenal are open to selling Willock permanently. Meanwhile, if they do decide to loan him out, the Gunners will want him playing top flight football – and that may prove a problem if Newcastle fail to stay up.
So it remains to be seen whether Newcastle will be in a position to loan Willock again next term. But what is clear is that many Magpies fans would love for his stay to be extended.
Plenty have lauded Willock and the impact he has made. And they have insisted that a second loan deal has to be a priority for this summer.
