Newcastle United could reportedly lose five first-team players this summer – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have responded by stating they wouldn’t blame their stars for exiting St James’ Park.

The Sun has named five players that could leave St James’ Park and it comes after the departure of manager Rafael Benitez.

It is understood that Ayoze Perez is doubting his future following the exit of the Spanish manager, while Isaac Hayden wants to leave for family reasons

The report also details that the trio of Federico Fernandez, Fabian Schar and Martin Dubravka would now listen to approaches this summer.

Newcastle are facing uncertain times right now following the departure of Benitez and have no manager at the helm, despite pre-season being just around the corner.

Perez would be a mammoth loss if goes, as he was the club’s top scorer last season with 13 goals across all competitions.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Dubravka and centre-back Schar were also standout performers in a resilient defence.

Midfielder Hayden played an important role in the second half of the season and Fernandez provided solid cover at centre-back in the first team.
