A number of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mail claiming that they could target Spurs midfielder Harry Winks on loan.
The Magpies have enjoyed an incredibly quiet window. Joe Willock has been their only first-team addition. And they are yet to make a loan signing.

Unfortunately, Steve Bruce’s men have made a poor start to the campaign. They find themselves in the bottom three after two games, having lost to both West Ham and Aston Villa.
It would be little surprise therefore, to see the club step up their plans in the final stages of the window.

And one of the players on their radar is Winks. The Daily Mail reports that the Tottenham man could be made available for a loan move in the coming days.
Winks has endured a frustrating time over the last couple of years. He only featured in 15 times in the Premier League last season.
Nuno Espirito Santo brought him on for the final moments of the win over Wolves at the weekend. But he played no part against Manchester City.
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham sanction a loan. It does seem that many Newcastle fans would love to see a deal done.
