Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin will not play against until the New Year, according to reports.
Saint-Maximin has sustained a hamstring injury and he has been for scans this week to find out the extent. According to Sky Sports News, the French winger will be out for around a month.
He picked up the injury in last Sunday’s win over Southampton. Having shown signs of his exciting talent so far this season, Newcastle fans know this is a major blow.
Saint-Maximin excites the fans

Saint-Maximin might not be the finished article yet and he needs to work on his end product. But he stirs up excitement whenever he gets on the ball and he has the ability to beat defenders.
The 22-year-old, who joined in the summer from Nice, has one goal and one assist to his name this season. His first goal was a header against Sheffield United recently.
But he will miss the hectic Christmas period as Newcastle aim to continue rising up the league table. Here are some tweets from Magpies fans who are bemoaning this injury blow.
