Newcastle Untied attacker Rolando Aarons is reportedly attracting interest from Panathinaikos – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are split over where his future should lie.
According to SDNA, Greek club Panathinaikos are keen on the 23-year-old this summer but will have to negotiate around his wages if they are to take him on loan next season.
The report also details that ex-Newcastle player Cal Roberts is also being eyed by them.
Newcastle are facing uncertain times right now, as it’s unclear on if Rafael Benitez will still be at the helm as manager next season.
The Magpies also have a number of players that don’t know where they will be playing football and Aarons is one of them.
The rapid winger has come through the youth ranks at St James’ Park and looked lively when he first burst on to the first-team scene, but has since declined and become a forgotten man.
He had two different loan spells last season, with his stint at Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship far more successful than with Slovan Liberec in the Czech Republic.

A selection of Newcastle supporters have been discussing Aarons and some want him to get another first-team shot, while others believe he’s not at the level required.
Here are some Newcastle fans commenting on Aarons:
