Miguel Almiron made his first Newcastle United start in the win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday – and many of the club’s supporters were blown away by his performance.
The Magpies recorded a convincing 2-0 victory at St James’ Park against bottom of the league, who played the majority of the contest a man light after Tommy Smith’s red card.
Rafael Benitez’s team unleashed a barrage of attempts on the Huddersfield goal and it took until the second-half for them to be rewarded.
Salomon Rondon opened the scoring shortly after the restart to continue his fine form, while Ayoze Perez netted soon after to ensure three points.
The North East club are now four points clear of the relegation places and will be looking to secure their top-flight status in the next few games with some favourable fixtures.

Newcastle fans got to see Almiron make his full debut following his January arrival from the MLS and he lived up to the hype.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder dazzled at St James’ Park to get supporters off their seat and showed some great technical ability on the ball.
He is a left-footed ace that was direct and created chances for the hosts, but will still have to wait for his first goal.
