Newcastle United remain keen on Chelsea striker Armando Broja ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.
Journalist Ben Jacobs says the Magpies are still tracking the Albania international as they gear up for the winter market.
Frank Lampard is also eyeing a raid on his former club for Broja as they look for cover and competition for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
But Jacobs says that Chelsea are currently not planning to loan out the forward as it stands going into Graham Potter’s first window in charge.

Newcastle keen on Broja
Broja’s Chelsea team-mate Ben Chilwell has claimed that the forward is quicker than England international Raheem Sterling.
When looking at some of Chelsea’s player ratings on the new FIFA 23 game, Broja insisted he was quicker than Sterling.
“‘I’m quicker than Raheem!” Broja said.
Chilwell replied to him: “You probably are you know?
“You’re probably the quickest in the team. They don’t know about you yet, bro.”
Described as “brilliant” by Jason Cundy, Broja seems primed and ready to shine for Chelsea, and he is getting some chances under Potter.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not a long-term option and they need a younger option to be part of the squad for many years to come.
It seems that a loan is not planned in Broja’s immediate future, so Newcastle may need to look elsewhere if they want a new forward in January.
