Amid of all the transfer chaos at Newcastle United right now, it still seems as if one high profile player may arrive on Tyneside next week.
It still seems very possible that both Kieran Trippier and Miguel Almiron could leave Eddie Howe’s side before the deadline, even if both moves seem to be stalling slightly.

Newcastle are known to need to increase their revenue before they can bring in new faces.
However, there still remains the feeling around the club that a new midfielder will arrive before the deadline.
And whilst many believe that will be on loan, journalist Luke Edwards still thinks Newcastle could complete a transfer to see a quite astonishing name arrive.
Speaking on the BBC’s ‘Transfer Gossip Daily’ Edwards explained that Everton’s Amadou Onana could still arrive at the club if things fall in place.
Amadou Onana could still arrive at Newcastle if Miguel Almiron seals Saudi transfer
Edwards explained: “Amadou Onana has been linked with Arsenal, Manchester United, it was myself who revealed Newcastle’s interest in Onana this month.
“Now I have always thought it is a hugely complicated deal to do. £60 million is a lot of money to cough up in January.
“Now what is interesting about this is that Newcastle haven’t actually managed to sell anyone, there has been a lot of talk about Trippier to Bayern Munich, Wilson to clubs in Italy, Miguel Almiron.
“But the only player they have managed to get rid of is Javier Manquillo to Celta Vigo and I don’t think they got any money for him, so I don’t think Newcastle’s finances have been boosted enough as yet for that Onana deal to happen.

“I think if Newcastle sell someone before the end of the month I could definitely see that Onana deal happening.
“I don’t think they will go as high as £60 million but then Everton have got to haggle, they paid a lot of money for him, so they would need to make some money off it, I think it’s a very complicated deal.
“Do they need a central midfielder? Yes. Are they working round the clock to try and get that deal to happen? Yes.
“If they sell somebody it will be a toss up between whether they go for him or Morgan Gibbs-White but both of those players are incredibly hard to prise away.”
Eddie Howe needs a midfielder
Whilst some fans may be reluctant to see the likes of Trippier or Almiron leave Newcastle, the departures could be worthwhile if a transfer see’s a player of Onana’s ability arrive.
Trippier would definitely be a bigger loss than Almiron, he’s been so crucial to Howe’s new era.
But Onana could eventually take a role of similar importance at St. James’, especially if there’s still uncertainty over Joelinton’s future.
All that being said, it still seems as if Miggy Almiron is expected to start against Fulham in the FA Cup this weekend.
It’s clearly going to be a very busy week or so for Newcastle – one that will involve a lot of twists and turns.
But if Amadou Onana does arrive in this transfer window then it will have to be deemed a success.
