Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry in recent months.

According to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs, the Gunners are interested in re-signing the attacker.

Meanwhile, the Daily Star claimed in April that Spurs boss Antonio Conte is eyeing Gnabry too.

However, Arsenal and Tottenham will likely face strong competition from the likes of Real Madrid for his signature.

Gnabry’s contract is running down and expires in June of 2023. This has led to uncertainty about his future.

A month ago, Sky Sports in Germany claimed Bayern want to sell the winger for around 40 million euros (£34million) this summer.

However, new reports have been claiming the Bundesliga giants are now in talks over a potential new contract for Gnabry.

“Let’s see if that changes soon”

Dean Jones, writing on GiveMeSport, provided an update on the state of play regarding Bayern and Gnabry, also touching on Arsenal’s stance.

While he didn’t mention Tottenham, the transfer insider did say some Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on the situation.

“Bayern are in new talks with Gnabry,” he wrote.

“And that’s a situation a few Premier League clubs are watching closely.

“I know Arsenal are not active on this front at the moment, but let’s see if that changes soon.”

Gnabry joined Arsenal for £100,000 from Stuttgart at the age of 16.

However, he made just 18 first-team appearances in the capital, with 10 of those coming in the Premier League.

Gnabry went on to join Bayern in 2018 and instantly proved his credentials with 10 goals in his first 30 Bundesliga appearances.

The “world-class” attacker has played a big role in their trophy triumphs over the past few years, including the 2019-20 Champions League.

Gnabry also famously scored four against Tottenham in the Champions League in 2019 in a 7-2 away win.
