Ryan Christie has become Celtic’s talisman after scoring yet another goal for his side.
In yesterday’s 5-1 win over Kilmarnock, Christie scored Celtic’s fourth goal with an impressive curling free-kick.
It was the 23-year-old’s seventh goal of the season in his 20th game.
And it has been some turnaround for Christie, whose future at Celtic looked bleak when he was struggling for game time earlier in the year.
After a loan spell at Aberdeen, Christie returned to Celtic but it looked like he might have to force a move away in January, until he broke into the first-team.
But he seems to have replaced former fans’ favourite Stuart Armstrong, who moved from Celtic to Southampton in the summer transfer window.
Christie now has three goals in his last three matches and four in his last five.
The Scotland international’s scintillating form has helped Celtic recover in the league, win the League Cup and take matters into their own hands in Europe.
Once again, Celtic fans flocked to social media to hail their new hero after he grabbed another goal.
Here are what Celtic supports were saying about Christie’s free kick and his sudden upturn in form.
