Real Madrid are reportedly ready to allow Gareth Bale to leave the club on loan this summer.
Marca claim the Welsh winger is ready to be let go by Zinedine Zidane, but there has been no interest in the player from other clubs to sign him permanently.
The 29-year-old’s huge wages and poor injury record are thought to be the main reasons Madrid have struggled to attract any offers for Bale.

His troubles with various different injuries have limited him to playing in just 47 percent of the matches he could have played in since joining the club in 2013 for £86 million (The Telegraph), according to AS (via the Daily Mail).
Perhaps a loan listing is the way to go to get the player off their books at least temporarily, and the development should certainly interest Tottenham Hotspur.
TBR’s view
Spurs have frequently been linked with a move to re-sign Bale over the last year or so, and getting him in on loan would be ideal.
Right now, Bale’s injury record makes him too big a gamble to shell out a big transfer fee but a loan move would arguably be worth it for Spurs – who need that something extra to help them challenge for silverware.
At the end of the day, there are no question marks over Bale’s ability. On his day – admittedly there are simply never enough of those days – Bale is one of the best players in world football.

If Tottenham were lucky enough to sign him and he stayed fit for a large chunk of the season then he could potentially help them land a trophy.
If his struggles with injury continued, then it would simply be a case of admitting it didn’t work out but at least no permanent transfer fee was involved.
