Rafa Mujica and Liam McCarron have uploaded posts on social media after the new Leeds United duo made their debuts for the club in a pre-season win over York City.
Leeds made the short trip to Bootham Crescent on Wednesday evening to take on sixth-tier National League North side York, in what is their first friendly of the summer – and Marcelo Bielsa named a strong side.
Other than Kalvin Phillips, Gjanni Alioski, Helder Costa and a handful of other senior players, Leeds fielded a very strong side before Bielsa swapped all of the outfield players on 62 minutes.
Jack Harrison notched a brace after returning to Elland Road, while Pablo Hernandez, Kemar Roofe and Adam Forshaw also netted. Two of the substitutes included Mujica and McCarron, and they posted on social media.

TBR’s view – McCarron the pick of the Leeds substitutes
The Leeds side looked a lot more like what Leeds fans can expect to see of the Under-23 side next season, with McCarron operating on the left but drifting inside and being hard to mark.
The new signing, lured to Elland Road for a six-figure fee from Carlisle United, showed a neat number of touched but also the vision and quality to split the defence with some well-timed passes.
At just 18 years of age, McCarron has a big future ahead of him and he will have surely impressed Bielsa with his 30-minute cameo on Wednesday – albeit against York.
