Earlier this week, West Bromwich Albion were reported by All Nigeria Soccer to have signed 19-year-old defender Kevin Joshua.
The 6ft 6in talent now appears to have confirmed the move to The Hawthorns with a Twitter message in which he welcomed the arrival of a “new chapter”.
All Nigeria Soccer reported that Joshua has signed his first professional contract contract with the Baggies following a successful trial.
The former Solihull United man is said to have impressed everyone at Albion including his teammates and coaching staff before being offered a deal.
On Thursday, Eyeconic Sports Management’s Arfan Rehman congratulated his client on signing his first professional contract with West Brom:

And Joshua replied with the following message:
Joshua, a left-footed centre back, is described by All Nigeria Soccer as aggressive, quick, and excellent on the ball.
His contract with West Brom will reportedly keep him at The Hawthorns until the summer of 2022.
It is reported that Stoke City offered Joshua a three-year deal in September last year but the deal fell through.
Joshua is believed to have also attracted interest from several other Premier League clubs but chose to join West Brom as he feels there is a genuine pathway to break into their first team.
