'Never seen anything like that': Everton player says he was stunned by what happened before Leicester win
Demarai Gray has hailed Everton fans for the reception they gave the side before Sunday’s vital 2-1 win at Leicester.
Toffees supporters gave their side a raucous send-off from Merseyside and they were rewarded with a crucial victory in the relegation battle.
That win has put Everton’s destiny in their own hands before tomorrow night’s clash with Watford at Vicarage Road.
A win there would all but guarantee Premier League safety against a Hornets side who have already been relegated to the Championship after just one season back in the big time.

Gray hailed Everton fans
Speaking to the club’s official website, Gray said: “It’s like an extra body.
“Even the send off when we were leaving the training ground. I’ve never seen anything like that before.
“Last week before we beat Chelsea, it’s the same.
“I think they know the role they play and how much of a help and boost for the team they are.”
Jordan Pickford has been absolutely outstanding in the last two games and the fans have more than played their part too.
After what they have seen this season, they could have turned on their players and there is no doubt that what has been served up has not been good enough on the whole.
But they have offered their vociferous backing to their players, which is the best thing supporters can do in the circumstances, and it is close to paying off.
