West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has admitted he can do nothing but applaud Tottenham striker Harry Kane, admitting how impressed he’d been with the Spurs ace on England duty.
Rice, now a regular in the set-up with Kane as his skipper for the Three Lions, was speaking to the Super Six Podcast this week and admitted he has been blown away by Kane at times.
Speaking specifically about Kane’s finishing, Rice opened up about just how impressive the Spurs man had been during an England drill.
“I’ve never seen finishing like Harry Kane in my life. We done a finishing drill and he finished every single ball from outside the dee. With power and precision. I know how good he is but witnessing him in training, it’s so sick to watch. You have to applaud it.”
Kane, under the guidance of Jose Mourinho, appears to have taken his game to a new level this season. He’s already scored seven Premier League goals this season, while he’s added another nine assists.
Rice, then, is clearly impressed and probably echoed the thoughts of most Premier League players around the country at the moment.

There’s no point in trying to play down Kane’s ability and quality is there so it’s not surprising to hear Rice applauding the Spurs man.
No striker is in better form across Europe than Kane so to get a small insight into his training methods is interesting reading.
Spurs, then, will be hoping Kane’s form continues for some time yet as they chase their first ever Premier League title under Jose Mourinho.
