‘Never does it in games’: Arsenal fans react to Willian goal in training

Arsenal fans have been venting their frustrations on Twitter today as footage emerged of under-fire winger, Willian.

The Gunners’ official account tweeted out the footage, showing Willian scoring a deft chip in training as he prepares for this weekend’s clash against Burnley.

Signed in the summer for free but said to be on wages of around £220k-a-week, Willian has bore the brunt of frustrations from Arsenal fans this season who feel he isn’t quite doing enough in matches.

Despite being a title winner with Chelsea and an experienced player, it seems some Gunners fans want more from their man given their struggles in the league this term.

The comments and reaction to this training goal, then, were not the most welcoming, as some fans lamented the lack of this sort of thing from Willian on matchdays.
