Neil Taylor has been blown away by the impact of Aston Villa loanee Tyrone Mings this season following his arrival from Bournemouth.
The centre-back arrived in January on loan for the rest of the season and has been a popular figure in the defence.
He’s made 15 appearances across all competitions for the Midlands giants and managed to chip in with two goals.
The English powerhouse is a serious physical presence that is a beast in the air and he also has the footballing qualities to play out form the back too.
Left-back Taylor, who has played alongside Mings in defence, is impressed by the impact his teammate has made at Villa.
“He’s (Mings) been a very good player. In my eyes, that’s the biggest influence you can have,” Taylor said, as quoted by the club’s official website.
“I think the football club has been good for him, too. He’s come here and he’s playing games week-in and week-out. That’s what he wanted and what he needed.
“It’s been the perfect match. It’s gone so well for him.”

TBR’s View:
Villa are gearing up for their two-legged play-off semi-final with West Brom and they need to be on top of their game.
Mings has been a mammoth since he came into Dean Smith’s team and no doubt will have a big say in the play-offs.
Villa should try land the 26-year-old on a permanent basis regardless of what division they are in next season, as he seems to have found the right fit.
He has developed a great understanding alongside another loanee Axel Tuanzebe at centre-back and the pair look formidable at Championship level.
