Celtic interim manager has shared his thoughs about Maryan Shved having watched him in training, branding him ‘a very exciting player’.
Shved was signed by the Hoops back in January for £1.8 million, but was immediately loaned back to Karpaty Lviv.
The Ukrainian season has finished and Shved apparently cancelled his summer holiday in order to begin training with his new teammates this week.

He said, as quoted by The Scottish Sun: “Now I am here, I’m really looking forward to starting my Celtic career. I’ve had a great few days at the training ground already, and I’ve spent my time working hard, as I always do.”
It would seem that Shved, who scored 15 goals for Lviv in his final season, has already made a big impression on Lennon.
The Irishman said of the winger (The Daily Record live blog, 16/05 10.01am): “He trained yesterday and looked great.
“We unfortunately can’t use him [against Hearts] but he’s a very exciting player and looked right at home with his teammates.
“He’s the type of player we enjoy at Celtic.”
TBR’s view
By all accounts, Celtic have managed to get themselves a player with great promise.
His form since his move to Celtic was announced has been highly impressive, and it looks as though the Parkhead faithful may have a new potential favourite on their hands.

Brendan Rodgers never appeared keen on Shved, suggesting a disconnect between management and the board when it came to his transfer.
But with Rodgers now out of the picture, Shved might be hoping Lennon gets the job full-time since he seems initially impressed by him.
