Celtic manager Neil Lennon picked out youngster Jeremie Frimpong for special praise for his performance on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old defender helped the Bhoys record a 2-0 home victory against Ross County in the Scottish Premiership.
They remain 16 points adrift of current league leaders Rangers, but do have three games in hand on them to try reduce the deficit further in a bid to defend their top-flight crown.
David Turnbull and Leigh Griffiths were both on the scoresheet for the Scottish champions against Ross County, as they cruised to three points in a match they had 67 per cent possession.
Lennon decided to give a mention to 20-year-old defender Frimpong for his contribution in the match.
The French right-back spent most of the evening attacking in the final third and weighed in with one assist, but may even feel his crossing could’ve been sharper and provided more goals.
“Jeremie Frimpong had an excellent game and was a real threat. A clean sheet and we didn’t look in any trouble,” Lennon said, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.

TBR’s View:
Aged 20, Frimpong is a really exciting talent that has managed to cement his spot in the Celtic XI this season and he’s got a lot of potential.
But there is so much the full-back can learn defensively and that’ll come with more experience, while in attack he needs to show more composure on the ball after flying fast opponents.
It feels like Celtic might be starting to perhaps click back into a bit better form, but the problem is now after a slow start it feels like they don’t have much room for any slip ups in their league matches.
