Neil Lennon confirms Vakoun Issouf Bayo and Tom Rogic have picked up injuries but Celtic trio on the mend
Celtic could be without Vakoun Issouf Bayo and Tom Rogic for tonight’s clash with St Mirren.
Neil Lennon gave an injury update on five Celtic players in his pre-match press conference (reported via @CelticFC). There are two new injury concerns but there is positive news on three others.
Celtic host St Mirren tonight and could lose two attacking players. Bayo is now an injury doubt, Lennon confirmed, after picking up a knock at the weekend.
The 22-year-old was spotted limping during a training session on Monday and now Lennon says he will go for a scan. Celtic hope to have Bayo back by the weekend but he could miss out.

Meanwhile, Lennon says Rogic has “inflammation” on his knee. The Australia international has had plenty of injury troubles this season and this is the latest setback. Rogic is likely to miss the St Mirren clash after starring against Aberdeen.
But there was positive news now. Lennon confirmed that Christopher Jullien will be fine despite his illness. Olivier Ntcham is back in training, although tonight might be too soon. And Ryan Christie is back in contention too.
TBR’s view
Without Bayo, Celtic are short up front. Leigh Griffiths and Mikey Johnston are still out so Celtic will be reliant on Odsonne Edouard.
Rogic is easier to replace as Celtic have an abundance of attacking midfield talent. If Rogic is ruled out, other players like Scott Sinclair or Marian Shved will be desperate to prove a point.
