Some Aston Villa fans wowed by 19-year-old's display v Burton

A number of Aston Villa fans have waxed lyrical about Cameron Archer following his hat-trick in the Papa John’s Trophy on Tuesday night.

The 19-year-old is one of the most talented youngsters in the Villans academy and is in red-hot form right now.

Archer has registered a staggering 10 goals from just eight Villa appearances at senior and age level this term.

The attacking ace has four goals from two Carabao Cup apperances, including a hat-trick against Barrow.

Archer also has two goals at Premier League 2 level and, on Tuesday night, took his Papa John’s Trophy tally to four in two games.

Villa Under-21s ran out 4-2 winners away at Burton, coming from two goals down to secure a superb victory.

The Brewers scored twice in four first-half minutes, courtesy of Daniel Jebbison and Kane Hemmings.

Archer not only netted a hat-trick for his side to turn the game around, but also provided an assist for Tristan Goodridge to get on the scoresheet.

Needless to say, some Aston Villa fans are desperate to see Archer become a first-team regular:
