'Needs to start', 'has to': Some Arsenal fans want Mikel Arteta to pick £140k-a-week man on Saturday

A number of Arsenal fans have urged Gunners boss Mikel Arteta to start Nicolas Pepe in tomorrow’s return to Premier League action.

Arsenal will be hoping to make it two wins in a row in all competitions against Pep Guardiola’s charges.

Although the Gunners were beaten 3-0 in both of their Premier League meetings with City last season, they ran out 2-0 winners in their FA Cup semi-final.

With Arsenal on an upwards trajectory, Gunners fans will fancy their chances against the hosts, with Kevin De Bruyne sidelined and Sergio Aguero only just back in training.

Pepe scored an impressive solo effort against Sheffield United last time out and, with pace and incision in his repertoire, he could be just the type of player to cut the City defence open, more so than Willian.
