Tottenham Hotspur beat Brentford in the Premier League last night, and Neal Maupay has been the talk of the town since.
Spurs were made to work hard by Thomas Frank‘s side, but goals from Destiny Udogie, Brennan Johnson and Richarlison sealed the game for Tottenham. Maupay had his say on Instagram after his antics during the game.

Neal Maupay reacts on Instagram after being beaten by Tottenham
Brentford star Neal Maupay did everything he could to get under Tottenham players’ skin last night.
The Frenchman has always been someone who you’d hate to play against. He may not be the best footballer in the world, but he does things that will really annoy you.
Maupay gave Brentford the lead against Tottenham last night, and the striker decided it would be a good idea to mock James Maddison while celebrating.
The Bees star did the darts celebration in front of the camera, and that really got on the nerves of the home fans as well as Tottenham players.
After the game, Maddison, who ended up on the winning side, told TNT Sports: “He probably hasn’t scored enough goals of his own over the last few years to have his own celebration. So, he probably had to copy mine.”
Responding to that on Instagram, Maupay wrote: “Went a bit early with that one.
“Gutted we couldn’t get the win. More goals and less relegations in my career than James Maddison. We go again Monday, bees.”
Who has scored more goals – James Maddison or Neal Maupay?
James Maddison claimed after the game that Maupay hasn’t scored too many goals over the years, while the Brentford man hit back by saying he has found the net more times than the Englishman.
So, who is right?
Well, in 361 senior club appearances over the years, Maupay has managed to score 99 times in all competitions across different clubs.
Maddison, who has played 32 games fewer than Maupay, has 81 goals to his name, which is not bad at all considering he’s a midfielder.
