Tottenham star Harry Kane once again captained England on Wednesday night to three more points in a World Cup qualifying match against Poland, receiving high praise for his contribution.
The Three Lions wrapped up the international break with there wins out of three, as they beat Poland 2-1 at Wembley Stadium in midweek.
Kane, 27, opened the scoring for the hosts with his penalty.
It then took a late winner from Manchester United defender Harry Maguire on the half-volley to secure the win.
Spurs centre-forward Kane received an 8/10 from national media for his latest England performance, which saw him score his 34th goal in his 53rd cap for his country.
“Another tireless performance from England’s captain, scoring from the spot, creating from deep, and was unlucky not to snatch a second,” wrote The Independent.

TBR’s View:
There are still some questions marks from people regarding how Kane operates in the England XI with his tendency to drop deeper at times, but his record speaks for itself.
The striker is playing at the top of his game right now, and even the most pessimistic England fan may feel they have a chance at this summer’s European Championships if the Spurs man is in top form.
Gareth Southgate’s squad truly have a world-class option in their side that will strike fear into opponents.
His attention will now back to his club form, and there is the prospect of silverware this month in the Carabao Cup final with Manchester City.
