Arsenal will take on Juventus in a friendly today and there could be some minutes for young talent, Nathan Butler-Oyedeji.

The talented teenager has, like so many others at London Colney, been making waves at youth level. He is seen by the Gunners as another top youngster who could very much be involved in the first-team in the future.

Of course, for now, he’ll have to bide his time with Arsenal flying high at the top of the Premier League. But these friendlies in the World Cup break have been a blessing for some Arsenal youngsters and Nathan Butler-Oyedeji is among those to benefit.

In the most recent Arsenal training pictures released on Getty Images this weekend, Butler-Oyedeji is among the young players spotted in the first-team training pre-Juventus.

The youngster might well get on the bench and potentially on the field against Juventus. Despite Arsenal being likely to field a strong side, Butler-Oyedeji could be involved.

Who is Nathan Butler-Oyedeji?

Arsenal are making quite the habit of bringing through top young talent at the moment. They seem to have an endless supply of youngsters coming through, and Butler-Oyedeji is another.

Described in glowing terms on Arsenal’s website, the teenager is a forward who is very much of the speedy mold.

“A versatile and dynamic forward, Nathan’s is capable of playing anywhere across the front line, using his explosive pace to devastating effect when running at defenders,” they write.

“He stepped up to under-23 football last term, making 11 appearances in Premier League 2, and featured in all six Premier League 2 Cup games.

“An Arsenal player from the age of eight, he signed his first pro contract in 2021.”

Certainly, then, it seems Gunners fans have another exciting young talent to keep their eyes on.
