Mykhaylo Mudryk's latest Instagram activity after Romano confirms new Arsenal bid
The saga involving the Ukrainian is still ongoing and the Gunners are not giving up. Shakhtar are proving to be incredibly difficult to negotiate with, but Arsenal, according to Romano, are leading the race.
Mudryk now appears to have sent a message of his own to Shakhtar.
Arsenal target Mykhaylo Mudryk’s latest Instagram story
Ever since rumours emerged that Arsenal are interested in signing Mudryk, the Ukrainian has been dropping hints about his desire to become a Gunner on social media.
From liking posts about Arsenal to watching Mikel Arteta’s men in action, he has been very active on Instagram. Now, after Romano revealed that a third Gunners bid has gone in, he seems to have a message for his club.
Romano tweeted last night: “Arsenal have submitted a new bid for Mykhaylo Mudryk in the last few hours. Parties are now getting closer, no breakthrough yet — talks ongoing with Shakhtar Donetsk.
“Arsenal are still leading the race — no official bid from Chelsea, as things stand.”
Mudryk then took to his Instagram Stories to post just one emoji – folded hands.
According to Emojipedia, the folded hands emoji is used as a “gesture of prayer, thanks, request, and greeting.”
Perhaps, Mudryk’s story was a request to Shakhtar to accept Arsenal’s latest bid and let him go.
It is no secret at all at this point that Mudryk wants to join Arsenal this month.
If those words are anything to go by, personal terms will not be an issue at all, but the big problem for Arsenal is finding an agreement with Shakhtar in the coming days.
Romano claims that the two parties are ‘now getting closer’ and that is good news for Arsenal fans. However, a deal is not done just yet.
