Arsenal fans were celebrating a win over Benfica last night but few will have likely celebrated quite like on loan midfielder, Martin Odegaard.
The Gunners came from behind to snatch a 3-2 win in a dramatic night at The Emirates, as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s double and then a Kieran Tierney strike helped them through.
Aubameyang nodded in Bukayo Saka’s cross to send Arsenal through. It was a fantastic moment of joy for the players and fans watching on TV, who also noticed just what Martin Odegaard did when the ball hit the net.

The Norwegian was captured by keen eyed viewers on Twitter sinking to his knees in celebration as Aubameyang wheeled away. Clearly exhausted and delighted, it was a moment that showed just how much Odegaard cares and how he’s taken to life in North London.
The social media platform was awash with comments from Arsenal fans discussing the moment from Odegaard. And it seems to have gone down pretty well among some of the Gunners faithful.
