A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on Tyreece John-Jules’ latest loan move away from the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners academy prospect will spend the 2020-21 season at League One outfit Doncaster Rovers.

John-Jules went out to Lincoln in January and scored once in seven games for the Midlanders before he suffered a broken bone in his foot and returned to Arsenal in March.

It came after the England Under-19 international had trained with the first-team both under Unai Emery and interim boss Freddie Ljungberg.

Upon his return from his spell at Sincil Bank, Mikel Arteta spoke warmly of John-Jules, calling him “powerful” and suggesting he could play in a number of attacking roles.

“I think he can do both,” the Arsenal boss told Football London.

“When he was with us I was impressed with him, his understanding of the game, how he links with the people around him, how powerful he is. He has got a goal in him.”

Here is some of the social media reaction from the Arsenal fanbase to John-Jules’ switch to Doncaster:

Although John-Jules is yet to feature competitively for Arsenal at senior level, he has made the matchday squad on several occasions, including in the Community Shield win over Liverpool.
