‘My player’: Tottenham fans react to Heung-Min Son against Watford

Tottenham battled away this afternoon at Watford as they managed another three points to continue their impressive start to life under Antonio Conte.

Although Spurs will be disappointed not to have penetrated a defence which has been more than leaky this season more than once, it was still a clean-sheet and another away win on the board. Davinson Sanchez was the hero, netting in the final minute of added time to send the away end nuts.

For Conte, it gives him yet more food for thought as January is now here. The transfer window is open, and Conte is expected to bring in a number of players during the month. However, one who won’t need replacing is creator of the winning goal, Heung-Min Son.

Once again, Son was in fine form against Watford. He continues to prove himself as an elite Premier League forward, and Conte will be delighted with his man. Indeed, the Spurs fans, too, were once again happy with what they saw from Son over on social media.

Twitter was the place to be for all the positive reaction towards Son, as Tottenham fans sung his praises. In particular, there was high praise for the quality of the delivery for Sanchez’s winner in the end.
